Biography

Forrest Church was born on September 23, 1948 in Boise, Idaho, USA. He was married to Amy Furth and Carolyn Buck Luce. He died on September 24, 2009 in Manhattan, New York City, New York, USA.

Bears a striking physical resemblance to Leonard Maltin.

Son of former U.S. Senator Frank Church, the former Democratic senator from Idaho. His father ran against Jimmy Carter in the 1976 presidential primaries and went on to serve as chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.

He graduated from Stanford University in Palo Alto, California in 1970 with a Bachelor's Degree and earned his Master's Degree at the Harvard Divinity School in 1974 and a doctorate in church history from Harvard University in 1978 in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

He is survived by his mother, Bethine Church and brother Chase Church of Boise, Idaho; his son, Frank Forrester Church V of Flushing, Queens, New York and a daughter Nina Church-Adams of Brooklyn, New York; and his stepsons, Jacob Luce of New York City and Nathan Luce of Golden, Colorado.

I look back without regrets, and I look forward without fear. I have never been more in the present.
