Damian Church is a highly accomplished Steadicam/Camera Operator based in Los Angeles, boasting over two decades of expertise in scripted content. His journey into photography began in high school and evolved into a dedicated career within the camera department. Damian got his start as a camera PA before progressing through roles as a 2nd and 1st AC.
Encouraged by Steadicam operator Geoff Owen, who generously mentored him during breaks on set, Damian pursued further training by attending a workshop with Garret Brown. This experience ignited Damian's passion for Steadicam and motivated his relocation to Los Angeles.
Throughout his operating career, Damian has collaborated closely with emerging talents from the American Institute of Film and established strong professional relationships with renowned DPs. He is recognized for his timing, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach to storytelling.
