He was of Native-American heritage, the son of actress Gertrude Chorre and
brother of actress Marie Chorre. After WW II, in addition to returning to an
acting career, he was also a professional wrestler using the name of
Suni Warcloud, which is also the name he is credited by (in one of his
rare credited roles) in Jim Thorpe -- All-American (1951), where he played "Wally Denny".
