Biography

Helen Childress was born on October 19, 1969 in Tarrant County, Texas, USA. She is a producer and writer, known for Reality Bites (1994), Good Girls (2018) and The Curiosity. She has been married to Carlos Dana Brooks since June 26, 1991. They have two children.

Helen quit the USC Filmic Writing Program before graduation in order to work at Jersey Films and finish writing her "Reality Bites" script.

Grew up in Quail Valley in Missouri City, a suburb outside of Houston, Texas.
