Rezo Cheishvili was born on 24 April 1933 in Tiflis, Transcaucasian SFSR, USSR [now Tbilisi, Georgia]. He was a writer and producer, known for Blue Mountains, or Unbelievable Story (1983), Sherekilebi (1974) and Kvarkvare (1978). He was married to Sophie. He died on 11 September 2015 in Kutaisi, Georgia.
