She broke into modeling at seventeen, invested her money wisely and co-wrote a best selling book, 'Money and How to Make it'. While at school, she had a Saturday job at a branch of Woolworths. Later, she spent ten years as a model, then, in 1979 ,did a Campari commercial which brought her to notice. This was followed by appearances in such television shows as Blankety Blank, Celebrity Squares. Worzel Gummidge and such sitcoms as Lame Ducks, and The Other Half, plus cameos in Casualty The Bill and Lock, Stock She lived with advertising director John Knight for ten years.
