Les Charlots is known for Stadium Nuts (1972), Charlots connection (1984) and Les Bidasses en folie (1971).

They recorded a cover album of songs by Boris Vian, in 1969.

Rolling Stone magazine named them the best French rock musicians, in 1968.

The five members of this group were Jean-Guy Fechner (1947), Gérard Filippelli (1942-2021), Luis Rego (1943), Gérard Rinaldi (1943-2012) and Jean Sarrus (1945-2025).
