  • Andrey Mikhailov Chaprazov is a Bulgarian theater and film actor. He was born February 16, 1920 in Oryahovo, Bulgaria. He studied law, then music (graduated from the State Academy of Music ) and acting. He formed and led the first military amateur team of artistic speech and amateur theater. In 1966-1967, he was director of the Theatre of Poetry and Bandstand. Then he was going to work in the National Theatre "Ivan Vazov". There he became a mainstay until his retirement. Unforgettable are his incarnations in dramatic roles in: " Don Carlos "; " Romeo and Juliet "; " King Lear "; " Cyrano de Bergerac "; " Nora "; " This little land "; " Outcasts "; " Promise me light past " and others. Andrey Chaprazov has over 5000 entries in RadioTheater and is undoubtedly the creator of this genre in Bulgaria. He recorded on plates various poetic compositions. In television productions he is from the creation of television ( 1959). His roles in the TV Theater are: " On a rainy autumn " ( 1963); " Family Kalinkov " ( 1968); " On Life and Death " ( 1974); " Die as a last resort " ( 1978); " Poison in the spring " ( 1978) ; " This small land " (1978); " Station Berlin " ( 1982); " Bronze Key " ( 1984); " Constantine the Philosopher " ( 1986); " I confess everything " ( 1989) and others. Andrey Chaprazov performed roles in movies since 1944. Andrey Chaprazov died on August 23, 1999 in Sofia, Bulgaria.
