Biography

Leontien Ceulemans was born on January 8, 1952 in Amsterdam, Noord-Holland, Netherlands. She was an actress, known for Oorlogswinter (1975), Loos (1989) and De dwaze lotgevallen van Sherlock Jones (1975). She died on July 28, 2022 in Laren, Noord-Holland, Netherlands.

Her characteristic voice is very popular for commercials, cartoons and for doing Dutch voice-overs for 'foreign' cartoons.

She made her radio debut in a children's program at the age of 3.

She made her TV debut (as a guest on a show) at the age of 11.

Her stage debut took place in 1971. Under the name Leontien Lukassen she played in the comedy Hartenvrouw by William Douglas Home.

Ceulemans donated her body to science.
