Biography

Jorge Cedrón was born on April 25, 1942 in Mar del Plata, Buenos Aires, Argentina. He was a director and writer, known for Argentina, mayo de 1969: Los caminos de la liberación (1969), Operación masacre (1973) and El habilitado (1971). He died on June 1, 1980 in Paris, France.

Retrospective at the 5th Buenos Aires International Festival of Independent Cinema.

Argentinian director. Studied at the University of La Plata. Went into exile in Paris following the military coup of 1976. An opponent of the military junta, he died as a result of four stab wounds to the heart, allegedly a suicide.
