- Suso Cecchi D'Amico was born on July 21, 1914 in Rome, Lazio, Italy. She was a writer and actress, known for Rocco and His Brothers (1960), Bicycle Thieves (1948) and The Leopard (1963). She was married to Fedele D'Amico. She died on July 31, 2010 in Rome, Lazio, Italy.

- She rewrote (with Ennio Flaiano) the screenplay for Roman Holiday (1953), that eventually won the Academy Award in 1954. Unfortunately the screenplay was not credited to them.
