Biography

Willie Gilbert was born on February 24, 1916 in Cleveland, Ohio, USA. He was a writer, known for Tom Corbett, Space Cadet (1950), Tales of Tomorrow (1951) and Rod Brown of the Rocket Rangers (1953). He died on December 2, 1980 in New York City, New York, USA.

Along with his collaborators, won two Tony Awards in 1962 for "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying:" as Best Author (Musical) and for book as part of Best Musical win.
