Peter Cattaneo was born on 1 July 1964 in Twickenham, London, England, UK. He is a director and producer, known for The Full Monty (1997), Opal Dream (2006) and The Rocker (2008). He is married to Julia. They have four children.

He was awarded the M.B.E. (Member of the Order of the British Empire) in the 1998 Queen&#39;s Birthday Honours List for his services to the British Film Industry.

Son of TV-commercial animator Tony Cattaneo (1927-2003), who was

Typhoo gnu and the Country Life butter men.
