Biography

Gloria Castillo was born on July 2, 1933 in Belén, Valencia county, New Mexico, USA. She was an actress, known for The Night of the Hunter (1955), Invasion of the Saucer Men (1957) and Cavalcade of America (1952). She was married to Ellis Kadison. She died on October 24, 1978 in Los Angeles, California, USA.

She became a dress designer once acting roles became scarce, with her husband and brother helping to run the business, which became very successful. However, she eventually developed a tumor in the back of her mouth and was treated by another brother, an older brother who had been a physician for almost 45 years. He had never seen such a type of cancer in all his time as a doctor and still believes that given her good health up until then, that she developed this cancer due to carcinogens used in her dress factory. The cancer spread and she soon died of the disease.
