Norm Cash was born on November 10, 1934 in Justiceburg, Texas, USA. He was an actor, known for 1959 World Series (1959), Monday Night Baseball (1967) and Major League Baseball on ABC (1953). He died on October 12, 1986 in Beaver Island, Michigan, USA.

Member of 1959 American League Champion Chicago White Sox team. Member of 1968 World Series Champion Detroit Tigers team. Member of 1972 American League Eastern Division Champion Detroit Tigers team.

Named to 4 American League All Star Teams (1961, 1966 and 1971-1972).

Played for the Chicago White Sox (1958-1959) and Detroit Tigers (1960-1974).

Led the American League in hits (193) and batting average (.361) in 1961.
