- David Casci is known for Extended Play (1982), A Man Called... Rainbo (1990) and The Pagemaster (1994).
- David Casci bought his first movie camera, a Kodak Brownie Funsaver at the age of seven, and subsequently exposed a lot of film, including award winners, "VOYAGE TO THE BOTTOM OF A WOMAN'S PURSE", and the festival favorite "POPPIN' FLESH" a wickedly satirical look at the making of a Pillsbury Doughboy commercial. He has been winning national and international filmmaking competitions since 12 years old.
- Was mentioned in the Encyclopedia Britannica Book of the Year for winning 51 Awards for a single film. That same film "Extended Play" went on to win more awards than most any film in the history of cinema (over 85 Awards). "Extended Play" was shuttled around Eastern Block countries in a U.S. Diplomatic Pouch during the Cold War.
