David Carr is an alternative TV Showrunner and Executive Producer/Director/Camera Op who owns and operates Downtown Television in Los Angeles. Carr was formerly the co-founder and co-owner of the TV ad agency, Beantown Productions. Specializing in international production, he has produced reality and documentary on 6 of the world's 7 continents. Carr has Produced hit shows for History, Discovery, A&E, TLC, Animal Planet, Game Show, Lifetime, and others. Some of his most notable work is The Curse of Oak Island (Showrunner & Co-EP); Alaskan Bush People 7 (Showrunner & Executive Producer); WWE's Most Wanted Treasures (Showrunner & Executive Producer); Treasure Quest (Showrunner & Executive Producer), Kings of Pain (Showrunner & Executive Producer); Extinct or Alive: Tasmanian Tiger (Showrunner & Executive Producer) Ancient Aliens (Field Producer and Director); Video Game Invasion (Executive Producer and Director); Da Vinci Declassified (Executive Producer and Director); Leo-Mania (Director); Operation: Style (Executive Producer & Director), and 18 volumes of the hard rock video magazine, Hard n' Heavy (Director, Editor).
