Retired from acting after marriage to tennis pro and businessman Edward Burke, but returned occasionally to the local stage in Eustis, Florida.

Performed on Broadway in productions of "Fanny" (1954), "Damn Yankees" (1955), "Happy Hunting" (1956) and "Mask and Gown" (1957).

Buried at Lakeside Memory Gardens. Eustis, Lake County, Florida.
