  • She was personal assistant and production driver for Nastassja Kinski and Robert Mitchum on Maria's Lovers (1984), her first feature film job that got her hooked on the movies.

  • Acting and singing, and working as a casting director, she studied drama and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the Pittsburgh Playhouse, under the direction of Point Park University, where she also studied directing, and marketing in film and theater. She studied improv with Martin de Maat from Chicago's Second City, who's workshop she promoted and hosted in Pittsburgh.
  • Linda's brother became a NYC guitarist, and built an East Village recording studio after being discovered by Grammy Award Winning Maureen McGovern who hired him for a 2 year tour.
  • Her mom was a jazz singer, and her dad and brother were jazz, pop, blues, guitarists who jammed in their home with the young legendary jazz guitarist, Pat Martino, in the '60's. Her grandfather, and both brothers played harmonica, and Linda developed a natural ability to play harmonica by ear.

  • Linda's original song, No More Runnin', written at age 15 in the 1970's is a self-empowerment song that was inspired by activism work of Jane Fonda. Later it was chosen in a statewide search in Pennsylvania for a large candlelight vigil and concert by Pittsburgh Aids Task Force in the 1990''s for their participation in International World AIDS Day, honoring those who died of aids. Soon after, she was approached to perform her song for advocacy group at rallies and marches.
  • Linda performed a Principal role directly opposite Ming-Na Wen in a corporate film early in her career.
