Darcia Carnie parents were Helen and Ned Carnie and she had a sister named Candace At the time of her death had two cats named Spidey and Shydey. She enjoyed traveling. She was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and lived with it for twenty years until her death in 2006. She passed away peacefully at the Dr. Vernon Fanning Centre in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
