Lachele Carl is known for Anansi Boys, Wednesday (2022) and Flesh and Blood (2020). She is married to Alejandro Viñao. They have one child.

She is the only actor to play the same character (Trinity Wells) in Doctor Who (2005), Torchwood (2006), The Sarah Jane Adventures (2007), and The War Between the Land and the Sea (2025).

Besides David Tennant, she is the only other actor to play the same character (in her case, Trinity Wells) in all of the first four series of the revived Doctor Who (2005) from 2005 to 2008.

Along with David Tennant, Matt Smith, Elisabeth Sladen, John Leeson, Tommy Knight and Alexander Armstrong, she is one of only seven actors to play the same character (the American newsreader Trinity Wells) in both Doctor Who (2005) and The Sarah Jane Adventures (2007).
