Jordan Canning is an internationally recognized director, writer, and producer working in film and television. Her work has screened at festivals worldwide, including the Toronto International Film Festival, Tribeca Film Festival, and Interfilm Berlin. Her features include We Were Wolves (TIFF 2014), Suck It Up (Slamdance 2017; Best Feature, B3 Frankfurt Biennale), and Ordinary Days (Best Director, Canadian Film Festival 2018).
In television, she has directed on series including Schitt’s Creek, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, Saving Hope, Pretty Hard Cases, Burden of Truth, Family Law, Brilliant Minds, Baroness Von Sketch Show, The Lake, Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock, and The Big Door Prize. Her Strange New Worlds episode "Charades" was named to multiple 2023 best-of TV lists. She is a two-time Canadian Screen Award winner and DGC Award recipient.
