Biography

Members have included Frank Cook, Alan Wilson, Bob Hite, Larry Taylor, Fito De la Parra, Harvey Mandel, Henry Vestine

As of 2023, following the death of Larry "The Mole" Taylor in August 2019, Adolfo "Fito" de la Parra and Harvey "The Snake" Mandel are the last surviving band members from the classic era which spanned from 1965 to 1970.

As of 2023, Adolfo "Fito" de la Parra is the only constant band member and also the only member from the classic era (spanned from 1967 to 1970) still active on the band, having been with Canned Heat since 1967.
