Soon after he started Go With The Flo Films where he wrote, directed, acted, and produced "The Beach House" (Feature/Comedy) and "Take it Easy" (Short/Thriller). "The Beach House" won Audience Choice Award at the Stony Brook Film Festival and both films were official selections of the Long Island International Film Festival. Newsday quoted him as the "Cecil B. DeMille of Long Island Film Making".
Go With the Flo Films next film was "American Dresser" where Carmine once again wrote, directed, acted, and produced. The film was theatrically released and starred Oscar Nominee (Platoon) Tom Berenger, Keith David, and two time Oscar Nominee (Nebraska/Coming Home) Bruce Dern along with a supporting cast of Gina Gershon, Penelope Ann Miller, Katherine Narducci, and Jeff Fahey. The soundtrack features an original song written and performed by Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Billy F Gibbons (ZZ Top) and country rocker Tim Montana titled 'American Dresser".
