He began his professional career as a live sound engineer in 1995, following concerts and live performance. He also developed musical mastering and environmental acoustics skills.
With over 20 years experience as Production Sound Mixer often following the post-production on features and series he has received several Italian award nominations, winning a David di Donatello and a Golden Ciak.
He also worked on international productions including The story of my wife by Ildiko Enyedi, Luka by Jessica Woodworth and Aicha by Mehdi Barsaoui.
Since 2009 he has been teaching in various academic institutions including the European Film College of Ebeltoft in Denmark and the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome. He also taught in the Masters of Level I in Cinema of Reality and Professions and languages of Cinema at the Roma Tre University.
From 2014 to 2022 he was artistic director of the sound course at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome.
