Biography

Daughter Valentina was born with a heart defect (2 holes in the heart and valves that need to be fixed) that will require surgery in 3-4 months after her birth. Her husband Sean Duffy resigned from his Congressional seat on September 23, 2019 so he could focus his time and attention on his family.

First alumna of The Real World (1991) to marry a fellow "Real World" alumnus. Her husband, Sean Duffy, was a roommate on "The Real World: Boston" while she was a roommate on the "Real World: San Francisco". They met on the first "Real World/Road Rules Challenge" show.

After her stint on The Real World (1991) ended, while the fifth season of the show (set in Miami) was being filmed, Campos was involved in a head-on car collision after the driver of an oncoming vehicle fell asleep at the wheel. Campos' boyfriend and his friend, who was driving their rented car, died in the accident. Campos was thrown out of the passenger-side window and sustained serious injuries to her right leg that caused permanent long-term problems such as arthritis, a limp and difficulty running.

Mother, with husband Sean Duffy, of nine children: daughter Evita Duffy (Evita Pilar Duffy) (b. October 1, 1999), son Xavier Jack (b. November 2001), daughter Lucia-Belen (b. April 2004), son John-Paul (b. 2006), daughters Paloma Pilar (b. May 18, 2008), MariaVictoria Margarita (b. April 1, 2010) and Margarita Pilar (b. May 6, 2014), son Patrick Miguel (b. May 29, 2016) and daughter Valentina StellaMaris (b. October 1, 2019).

Auditioned for The View (1997) in 1999 to fill the "twenty-something" spot left vacant by Debbie Matenopoulos. Campos was beaten out by Lisa Ling.
