- Merv Campone was born on May 31, 1932 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. He was a writer and actor, known for The Beachcombers (1972), Leo and Me (1978) and The Manipulators (1970). He died on December 29, 2000 in Langley, British Columbia, Canada.
