Mini bio

  • Guy Camilleri IMDbPro & Acting Platforms Guy Camilleri is a Los Angeles-based actor, screenwriter, producer, and the founder of RAW Acting Studio. He is known for his risk-taking and his willingness to go the distance, powerful, vulnerable, spontaneous, and deeply affecting on both film and stage. Raised in Cocoa Beach, Florida, Guy attended Cocoa Beach High School and Florida State University before spending several years in Honolulu and ultimately relocating to New York City to pursue acting. His training spans seven years with master teacher-director Gene Frankel in New York and two years with Catlin Adams in Los Angeles. He also studied in an invitation-only class with Academy Award-winning screenwriter Bobby Moresco. Guy made his screen debut in the lead role of Hotel Sumatra, written and directed by Ariel Vromen. A collaboration that led to two additional features, Rx and Danika. He has since accumulated extensive credits across film, television, and theatre. Taking charge of his career as a producer, Guy produced and starred as Harry in the L.A. premiere of Ira Lewis’s Chinese Coffee, directed by the highly esteemed Jack Heller. The production earned rave reviews in the Los Angeles Times and LA Weekly. He also produced the critically acclaimed L.A. production of Jean Cocteau’s The Human Voice at the Elephant Theatre, directed by multi-award-winning director Dan Bonnell, starring Ho-Jung in a powerful, protean performance. As a screenwriter, Guy has completed two feature-length screenplays. His second was written with writer-director Chris Cordone, who subsequently wrote a role for Guy in his directorial debut, Stevie D. Guy continues to develop his own original feature, which he is also set to produce. Guy is a proud member of the Writers Boot Camp. When his schedule permits, he competes in surf contests up and down the California coast and is passionate about keeping the ocean clean and healthy.
