E.H. Calvert was born on June 27, 1863 in Alexandria, Virginia, USA. He was an actor and director, known for The Love Parade (1929), The Wizard (1927) and Vultures of Society (1916). He was married to Lillian Drew and Thelma M. (actress). He died on October 5, 1941 in Hollywood, California, USA.

Prolific actor/director, in silent films with Essanay from 1912. Came from a military background (ex-cavalry captain) and thus often appeared in uniformed roles. Began performing in vaudeville and stock theatre.

E.H. Calvert & his wife Lillian Drew Lillian Drew are the parents of child actor William Calvert William Calvert.
