- Met Ramón Arcusa when they both worked as mechanics at the Elizalde SA aviation engine company in the late 1950s.
- Together with Ramón Arcusa they became the first pop music idols and pioneers of the so-called fan phenomenon in Spain and would go on to make four films.
- At the early age of 20, he began working as a lathe operator at Elizalde SA, where he met Ramón Arcusa , who would become his artistic partner for at least fifty years . At the company's 1958 Christmas party, the two sang together the songs Blanca Navidad (White Christmas) and Gondolier, marking the beginning of their long musical collaboration as Dúo Dinámico .
