Biography

Pasquale Calone is an Italian-Mexican filmmaker. His studies was first structured in philosophy of the image at the Sorbonne, Paris and then at the international film school in Rio de Janeiro. He has developed documentary and fiction projects selected at international festivals such as Cannes, Venice, Toronto. The themes of his films reflect his interest in social problems such as the disparity of resources, the search for identity and the conflicts caused by cultural differences. He is currently developing the fiction film "Eterno Retorno" in Mexico.
