Biography

Bertrand Calmeau has taken portraits of Sydney Sweeney, Shailene Woodley, Dakota Johnson, Billy Bob Thornton, Bill Clinton, Peter Falk, James Woods, Monica Bellucci, William Hurt and more.

He was still photographer on two Oscar nominated movies, Incendies (2010) and Henry (2011).

He has taken photos of the NHL Montreal Canadiens for the team's 100th anniversary.

Bertrand Calmeau has lived, studied and worked in Europe, Asia and Africa. He is now based in Canada and has visited more than 60 countries. He has French and Canadian citizenship. He began in the film industry as a chauffeur for actors such as Tom Hanks, Angelina Jolie, James Woods, and Billy Bob Thornton, eventually becoming a set photographer, a position he has held for more than 25 years now.
