Biography

Herbert Bötticher was born on December 19, 1928 in Hannover, Germany. He was an actor, known for Dream City (1973), Blut floss auf Blendings Castle (1967) and Hamlet (1960). He was married to Doris Gallart. He died on October 8, 2008 in Düsseldorf, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.

Taught acting at the Otto Falckenberg School in Munich from 1961 to 1969.

Resides in the Munich district Schwabing.

Attended the Hannover Drama School from 1948 to 1950.

Born to conductor Wilhelm Bötticher and his wife Karoline Helwes, he grew up in Hanover.

Was an amateur magician and in 1987 hosted a German TV-show showing clips from Siegfried & Roy, David Copperfield and Mark Wilson's stage performances.
