Biography

Rolland Bédard was born on November 29, 1913 in Montréal, Québec, Canada. He was an actor, known for Highpoint (1982), Fantastica (1980) and Les brûlés (1959). He was married to Juliette Senez. He died on May 7, 1987 in Montréal, Québec, Canada.

He was the repairman in a Maytag ad for French Canadian TV. He was replaced after his death by his half-brother Paul Berval . The success of that ad made it possible that the concept was later used in the USA also.
