She worked in repertory in Ireland and New York. She toured America for two years with the American Theatre Guild. She is best remembered for playing "Dr. Frances Whitney" in the TV Series Emergency-Ward 10 (1957). Despite being a household name, she died in obscurity without any obituaries. She married David Lawrence, an American businessman, in Paris in 1955 and they had one son named Stephen. Her hobbies were listed as swimming and riding.
