Rolan Bykov was born on 12 November 1929 in Kyiv, Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic, Soviet Union [now Kyiv, Ukraine]. He was an actor and director, known for Andrei Rublev (1966), Scarecrow (1984) and Aybolit-66 (1967). He was married to Elena Sanaeva and Lidiya Knyazeva. He died on 6 October 1998 in Moscow, Russia.

Graduate of the Shchyukin Theater School, 1958 Starts his activity as
director at the Komsomol Theater in Leningrad.
