Biography

Eve Butterly was born in Scranton, PA and grew up in Chicago and Grand Rapids, MI. After graduating from the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor), she moved to Dallas, TX to pursue a career in film. She has worked as a Script Supervisor since 1989, and recently branched out into directing: her feature film, "Lily Is Here" is available on Amazon Prime, and the short film she wrote and directed, "2Ships" (a collaboration with her daughter, actress Julia Boyd) is available online. She taught Intro/Advanced Script Supervising at Columbia College Chicago as an adjunct professor for several semesters during the pandemic, and continues teaching script supervising and continuity at various platforms online.
