Boris Burmistrov was born on 8 December 1927 in Moscow, USSR. He was a production designer and costume designer, known for Esperanza (1988), Dva dolgikh gudka v tumane (1981) and Na ostrove dalnem (1957). He died on 5 November 2005 in Saint-Petersburg, Russia.
