- Will Burke is a director, writer, performer, and producer with more than 20 years of experience in television and comedy. For nearly two decades, he has been a creative force at "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" on ABC, where he has written, directed, and appeared in thousands of sketches.
As a director, Burke's credits include the Top Gun-themed cold open for the 2023 Academy Awards, the 2024 Oscars promo short starring Ryan Gosling, America Ferrera, Kate McKinnon, and Jimmy Kimmel, and the popular series of viral celebrity bits "Mean Tweets". He has also helmed dozens of branded integrations for global companies, including a Pringles Super Bowl social media campaign in 2025. He once taught Oprah Winfrey how to head-butt a lady.
Burke began his career as an actor, appearing on "NCIS", "Sex and the City", "Curb Your Enthusiasm", and in more than 40 national commercials, most memorably as "The Serious Fun Guy" in the NFL Network's 2012 campaign. He is a member of the Directors Guild of America, the Writers Guild of America, the Screen Actors Guild, the Television Academy, and graduated cum laude from Harvard.
