Jim Burk was born on November 14, 1932 in Newhall, California, USA. He was an actor, known for Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan (1982), 2010: The Year We Make Contact (1984) and Tango & Cash (1989). He died on March 10, 2009 in Darby, Montana, USA.

Stuntman and actor who worked on over a dozen films with John Wayne.

Retired for the most part in the late 1980s and settled in Montana's Bitterroot Valley.

Was known for training falling horses in nearly three decades of westerns and cavalry films.

Began training horses and competing on the rodeo circuit as an adolescent.

His stepfather, Jimmy Loukes, helped him break into the film industry as a stuntman in the 1950s.
