Biography

Betty Buehler was born on June 14, 1921 in Oberachern, Germany. She was an actress, known for The Mob (1951), Rocky King, Detective (1950) and The Plainclothesman (1949). She was married to Lewis Howard. She died on January 8, 2012 in New York, USA.

She emigrated to the United States with her parents, Sophie and Gustave Buehler, in 1928. They settled in Fort Plain, New York and operated the Ideal Bakery in nearby Gloversville.

She graduated from Fort Plain High School, attended Syracuse University for two years, then transferred to Ithaca College, where she earned a degree in drama and English in 1944.
