- Martin Budny is a Canadian/European actor and artist working across film and television. Born in Baghdad and raised between Europe, Egypt, and Canada, his international upbringing shapes his interest in character, identity, and storytelling across cultures.
After returning to acting in 2015 following a 10-year hiatus, Martin has worked with directors including Pawel Pawlikowski and Krzysztof Zanussi. His credits include Echo of the Heart, a Hallmark film, Netflix’s The Taming of the Shrewd Parts 1 and 2, Turncoat, and Gra O Wszystko. Alongside acting, he maintains an active visual art practice.
