- Frederik Buch was born on December 8, 1875 in Copenhagen, Denmark. He was an actor and writer, known for Skorstensfejeren kommer i morgen (1915), Bytte Roller (1914) and Telefondamen (1917). He died on April 13, 1925.
- In the 10s followed the height of his film career and Frederik Buch often worked together with the director Lau Lauritzen sr.
- With numerous performances he entertained a huge audience for many years.
- He continued his career in Denmark in the 20s, at the same time he joined the film business in Germany as well, especially with his figure "Knoppchen". This figure was already established in Denmark where Lau Lauriten realised such movies from 1915. In the 20s director Heinrich Bolten-Baeckers continued the serial in Germany.
- The actor Frederik Buch belonged to the Danish film pioneers who took part in countless short movies of the 10s. Later he was also able to gain a foothold in the German film business with comedies.
