Kasi Brown is a screenwriter/director/actress from the cornfields of Kansas known for writing, directing and starring in the indie hit, Gone Doggy Gone. Chris Packham of LA Weekly said, "The film’s sweetness, its story line and the script’s cartoony characters recall Raising Arizona." She is a PAGE Awards, Final Draft, and CineStory screenwriting Finalist, and Austin Film Festival Semifinalist. Before risking it all to head out to Los Angeles, she graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in Theater and Film. Kasi has acted on various TV shows including Secrets & Lies, How to Get Away With Murder, American Crime Story, Miami Medical, ER, and Monk, as well as too many commercials to count. When she's not smashing keys, Kasi works as an EMT. Her advice? Wear underwear.
