  • At the age of 13, Sean attended boarding school in England. It was there that he began studying the behavior of those around him in order to adapt and fit in to these new surroundings. This talent for reinvention propelled his interest in acting. Sean studied his craft at the Central School of Speech and Drama, playing the coveted lead roles in William Shakespeare's "Richard the Third" and "Hamlet". After graduating with honors, Sean auditioned for the British Shakespeare Company and earned the role of "Romeo" in their staging of "Romeo and Juliet". The play ran for over a year and toured England and Scotland.

In 2005, Sean was cast in the MTV series, Dubplate Drama (2005) as "Chris", a music producer. In 2006, Sean produced and starred in the short film, Old Dog (2006), written by David Soul (Starsky and Hutch (1975)). The film went on to win the Endinborough Short Film Festival. His performance was critically-acclaimed and, in the same year, he was subsequently cast as the lead character, "Nelson", for the TV miniseries, When Evil Calls (2006).

In 2007, Sean starred in two feature films. He played "Jake", a homosexual celebrity photographer in Surveillance 24/7 (2007) 24/7. The film was played as an official selection of the Berlin Film Festival. The film stylishly tackles relevant taboo subjects across different classes of British society. Sean next starred as hell-raiser and beat poet muse, "Neal Cassady", in the full-length feature, A West Texas Children's Story (2007) (aka "West Texas Lullaby"), with Val Kilmer. Later that year, he starred as "Cpl. Daniel Redman" in the HBO miniseries, Generation Kill (2008), from the creator of The Wire (2002). The show won 3 of the 11 Emmys for which it was nominated, including outstanding miniseries. The emotional arc of Sean's characters would bow in the short film, My Horizon (2009), with Nick Nolte, where he played a troubled son who eventually dies of an overdose. Sean wrapped the sci-fi action film, Alien Uprising (2012) in 2011. In it, Sean stars as an anti-hero leading a group of friends to safety in an apocalyptic world. The film is set for a theatrical release in 2013.

Sean also studied directing at UCLA. Having grown up in Hollywood visiting and working on movie sets, Sean has maintained critical alliances in the industry and decided to set up his production company Knightmarcher Films in 2012 when he made his writing and directorial debut with the featurette, "The Kid", which had its world premiere at the Raindance Film Festival in London and that recently won Festival Darling at the Louisville International Festival of Film, and recently winning the Director Breakthrough Spotlight Award at the Hollywood Reel Independent Film Festival.

He soon followed that with "63 Lbs", starring Michael Madsen, "Suicide Doors", starring long-time friend and actor, Cade Carradine, and "Face of C", which deals with the struggles of cancer.

Sean is set to hit the festival circuit with his latest feature, an action/drama based off the Irish play, "Playboy of The Western World", and titled "My Father Die", produced by Pierce Brosnan, Orian Williams, and Sanja Banic.
