- Corry Brokken was born on December 3, 1932 in Breda, Noord-Brabant, Netherlands. She was an actress, known for Am Abend ins Odeon (1960), Goede tijden, slechte tijden (1990) and Pro of Contra (1963). She was married to Jan Meijerink, René Sleeswijk and Cees See. She died on May 31, 2016 in Laren, Noord Holland, the Netherlands.

- After quitting showbiz in 1974 she studied law and became a registered lawyer. In 1990 Ms. Brokken was appointed as a judge at the district court of 's-Hertogenbosch. In 1995 she decided to have a showbiz comeback.
- On March 3,1957, she won the second edition of the Eurovision Song Contest with a song called 'Net Als Toen'. She also performed in the 1956 and the 1958 edition of the festival.
