Melissa Brockman(I)

Melissa has been producing visual effects for over 25 years. Initially obtaining a degree in theatre stage management from Boston University, Melissa moved to Los Angeles in 1991 to pursue a career in feature film-making. She began her VFX career in 1996 at Digital Domain on the film Dante's Peak. From there, Melissa continued working at such high-profile companies as Cinesite, Stan Winston Digital, CIS Hollywood and Rhythm & Hues. In 2017 she transitioned to client-side vfx producer on the STX Films production of The Space Between Us. She continued working with STX on such films as Hustlers, 21 Bridges and Countdown. In 2019 she began working for Blumhouse Films on The Invisible Man, directed by Leigh Wannel. For the next two years she worked with Blumhouse on projects such as The Forever Purge, The Black Phone, Firestarter and Vengeance. M3GAN. During those first two years she established a visual effects department and, In 2021, was promoted to VP of VFX. In that role she produced and supervised the hit movies M3GAN, Insidious: The Red Door, Five Nights at Freddy's and many others.
