- Holly is a diagnosed Coeliac. This means she cannot eat or drink, anything with gluten ie. wheat, rye, barley, oats or malt. She has appeared on the cover of the Coeliac Society's quarterly magazine "The Australian Coeliac".

- Family moved to the Gold Coast whilst she was still a baby.
- Attended Mary Mount Primary School/College where she excelled at speech and drama, this led to Holly's involvement in school musicals and drama festivals.
- She also took an interest in dancing and joined Paradise Performers Dance Academy, where she participated in various classes such as jazz ballet, tap and also took part in Eisteddfods winning many awards.
- At 12, became serious about dance and starred in professional shows with the dance school.
- At 13, joined Studio Search Agency on the Gold Coast and started her gradual climb to her tv and film career.
- Is god-mother to her best-friend's son, fellow Australian celebrity Lisa Barry.
- Gave birth to her 1st child at age 31, a son Levi Harper Ford on July 16, 2009. Child's father is her husband, Paul Ford.
- Gave birth to her 2nd child at age 34, a daughter Willow Jade Ford on July 20, 2012. Child's father is her husband, Paul Ford.
- Lost her father tragically to a brain tumor in 2012.
