Georg Brintrup is a German-Italian film director, screenwriter and producer, known for his non-narrative film essays on poetry and music as well as his full-length biographical films. His work as a writer and film director include "Rules for a Film about Anabaptists", "Putting Things Straight" (1979), "Poemi Asolani" (1985), "Drums and Gods" (2000), "A Ray of Sun" (1996), "Palestrina - Prince of Music" (2009), "Santini's Network" (2013)
