- Brij Sadanah was born on October 6, 1933 in Gujranwala, Punjab, British India [now Pakistan]. He was a director and producer, known for Victoria No. 203 (1972), Ustadon Ke Ustad (1963) and Yeh Raat Phir Na Aaygi (1969). He died on October 21, 1990 in Bombay, Maharashtra, India.

- Father of actor Kamal Sadanah Kamal has recently produced and will be playing a supporting role in a remake of his father's 1972 hit film "Victoria No. 203" which is due for release in August 2007.

- Shot his entire family in a drunken state in 1990. The victims were his wife actress Sayeeda Khan and his daughter Namrata . Namrata was engaged to producer Abis Hassan Risvi. Abis was shot dead in a Istanbul nightclub in 2017. Brij's Son Kamal Sadanah survived the terror night in 1990. He was only shot in the arm. Years prior Nargis Dutt had revoked Brij's gun license due to a violent incident with his wife Sayeeda. Brij then convinced Sayeeda to get back his license saying it was for protection of the house.
